Zone Trek full day trips start at 10:45 am, right after arrival of the 8:30 Student Agency yellow bus from Prague www.studentagency.cz. That enables those travelers coming straight from Prague to take one of our trips, have time to see Karlovy Vary and make their evening return to Prague possible (if on a very tight itinerary). The last Student agency bus leaves Karlovy Vary at 8 pm. Our other tours start at 11:45 am, catch the 9:30 bus to get on time.

However we highly recommend to plan ahead and take at least a 2-day trip to Karlovy Vary. That will give you an opportunity to look around, check out other sites as well, all in a bit more relaxing way. We encourage you to stay in this area (our zone) as long as you wish, be sure there is plenty to see.

Student agency-yellow buses leave Prague for Karlovy Vary every hour from Florenc Bus Station- Platform No.2. You don’t have to go there to purchase a bus ticket in advance, just buy it online. A regular bus ticket price of Prague-Karlovy Vary line is currently 150 CZK per ticket (valid from 24 Jan 2011). Other stops in Prague to get on and off the bus are: Prague International Airport at Terminal 1 and Dejvická Station, Metro A.

There are two stops in Karlovy Vary. The first stop is at the main junction for city buses called “Tržnice” (The Market Hall). Please get off the bus there. This is the place where our tours begin. The bus continues to the Bus & Train Terminal (the Lower Station or “Dolní nádraží” in Czech) about 400 meters away. All Student Agency buses heading to Prague depart from the Lower Station’s Platform No.0. No other stop in Karlovy Vary going to Prague, so please make sure you hop on the bus there.
